Bridge Drama Presents The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

Bridge Drama are delighted to have once again qualified for the RTÉ All Ireland Drama Festival finals in Athlone and due to popular demand are returning to the National Opera House for an additional performance in the O’Reilly Theatre on Sunday 4th May.

Bridge Drama is an amateur drama group based in Castlebridge, Co Wexford. The group perform bi-annually at the Jerome Hynes Theatre and are regular finalists at the All-Ireland Amateur Drama Finals. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is the groups 2025 drama circuit entry.

Synopsis:
Teenaged Christopher, stands beside Mrs Shears' dead dog. It is seven minutes after midnight, Christopher is under suspicion. He records each fact in the book he is writing to solve the mystery of who murdered Wellington. He has an extraordinary brain, exceptional at maths, but he is ill-equipped to interpret everyday life. He has never ventured alone beyond the end of his road, he detests being touched, and he distrusts strangers. But Christopher's detective work, forbidden by his father, takes him on a frightening journey that turns his world upside down.
