Donegal vocal harmony quartet Onóir have emerged as one of the most exciting acts in contemporary Irish folk music.
The group first captured international attention in 2020 with their powerful rendition of “The Auld Triangle”, which has since attracted more than 3.5 million views. With more than 200,000 social media followers, their audience continues to grow around the world. Since then, Onóir have performed across Ireland, the UK, Europe and North America, building a reputation for exceptional vocal harmonies, imaginative arrangements and an unforgettable live show.
Audiences are taken on a musical odyssey, from fresh interpretations of traditional Irish ballads to up-tempo modern classics, carefully chosen songs from beyond the folk tradition and original material. Four distinctive voices come together in rich arrangements that feel both rooted in Irish music and strikingly contemporary.
There is much more to an Onóir concert than outstanding musicianship. The natural chemistry between Tom McHugh, Declan Gaughan, Deane Connaghan and Diarmaid McGee, together with their storytelling and good humour, creates a warm connection with the audience. Reflective and emotional moments give way to laughter, lively singalongs and soaring harmonies.
From tears to laughter, enjoy the onstage chemistry, excitement and banter in a show not to be missed.
