A Date with Doris celebrates the music, the movies and the persona of Hollywood sweetheart, Doris Day. Singing over 20 classic songs, Aileen Donohoe will take you on a sentimental journey spanning 30 years of Doris Day’s career, from the big band era to the golden age of Hollywood.
This is a nostalgic one-woman show featuring classic songs such as 'Que Sera', 'Sera', 'On Moonlight Bay', 'Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps' and iconic hits from the Wild West’s most fiercesome heroine Calamity Jane.
Written and directed by Brendan Cull (Monster Bride, Sleepless in Seattle, Book of Mormon, Spamalot, Singin in the Rain, West Side Story) this is an original story of a quirky girl-next-door and ultimate Doris Day fan as she prepares for a date with her secret love.
