Oyster Lane Theatre Group are proud to present ‘A Trip Down Oyster Lane’, a concert celebrating their 25 years of musicals in Wexford town.
The group, whose ethos is to blend youth with experience, have been treading the boards since their first show, Grease, in 1994 and are as active as ever. Past members have included Love/Hate’s Charlie Murphy, West End’s Sharon Clancy and US based tenor, Michael Londra. The group have produced well-loved musicals such as Annie, The Wizard of Oz, Beauty & the Beast and Hairspray.
They’ve also undertaken classics like My Fair Lady, Calamity Jane and Evita. Their latest production, ‘Michael Collins - a Musical Drama’, recently won Best Overall Show in Ireland in the Sullivan Section of AIMS this year. They are delighted to be inviting back past and present performers from over the last 25 years for an evening of musical theatre.
The MC for the night will be Alan Corcoran from South East Radio, former director and founding member of the group. With a cast of over 70, the night will no doubt be an amazing experience and a celebration of musical theatre in Wexford.
