The sound of the ticking clock will bring us on a journey through time to explore the themes and ideas behind Olga Conway’s ‘Discovering Drama’ teenagers’ production of ‘Tale as Old as Time’.
The 70 strong ensemble will bring us on a journey on the fabulous O’Reilly stage, starting with the evacuees of World War II and how a chance finding in an attic transports us back to one of the most iconic times in history.
The courtroom is the setting for our next offering called ‘Spilled Ink’. Here we have fun, again with the idea of time, with fairy-tale characters from bygone days questioning their destiny and fighting for their rights in the courts.
Our eldest group will explore how the scenes of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet hold resonance for us now with their universal themes. We are then transported into a futuristic dystopian to see how life would have evolved if the feud in Romeo and Juliet had never ended.
Come along on March 22nd to see the immense talent here in Discovering Drama’s Senior section of the school.
