Deirdre Masterson is proud to present talented young members from The Irish College of Music Theatre, in a showcase performance accompanied by pianist, Conor McCarthy.
Students studying under the tutelage of internationally renowned soprano and educator will present an array of musical genres, including excerpts from the musicals; Oliver, Annie, Mary Poppins, A Star is Born, Wicked and Hamilton.
The Irish College of Music Theatre was established in 2011, and provided the first accredited third level musical theatre qualification in Ireland. Currently the director, Deirdre Masterson, delivers private and group programmes for young adults in Gorey and Wexford; including a Young Artist Programme, for aspiring young classical, musical and popular singers, at The National Opera House.
This programme is specifically designed to nurture the artistic development of talented young singers wishing to obtain the skills and techniques required for the professional stage.
The showcase promises to present music to suit everyone in the family, where ‘the stars of the future’ will take you on a musical journey through the world of musical theatre, opera, popular and Irish song.
