National Opera House Singing for Health Workshop with Aisling Kenny

Aisling Kenny is a soprano, vocal coach, lecturer and workshop facilitator.  She specialises in early music and art song and holds an MA in performance from Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, Switzerland. She has performed extensively as a soloist and sings regularly with professional ensembles including Irish Baroque Orchestra, Resurgam, Sestina and Collegium Vocale Gent. She is an accomplished recitalist - giving concerts in venues and festivals including the Galway Early Music Festival, East Cork Early Music Festival, Hugh Lane Gallery, Centre Culturel Irlandais, Paris, Oxford University and Kilmurray House, Kilkenny.

In this vocal workshop Aisling will draw on her extensive experience as a vocal coach and will continue with the theme of healthy breathing technique and how to phrase each line in a song.

This session is open to all who have some experience of singing - no prior attendance for these sessions necessary.  All that is required is you and your voice!

Music will be sent out in advance.

As places are limited, if you’re plans change and you can no longer participate please do let us know in advance, as we could then accommodate any waiting list.  

These workshops are Free of Charge but places must be booked in advance.
