Would you like to learn a few things about music and how it can be part of our every day life?
These workshops are aimed at children from 18 months up to school the start of primary school (4 years approx) and parents, adults and grandparents. Led by Malachy Robinson (double bass, guitar, vocals) and Anita Vedres (violin) from the National Opera House Education & Community team you will go on a journey of discovery about making sounds, how high and low they can go, the timing of music (rhythm), how soft or loud it can be, how music can help to describe a story and how music can produce so many feelings.
So come and join Malachy and Anita – all you need is 40 minutes of your time and an internet connection!
Suitable for children (and accompanying adult) from 18 months up to 4 years.
Choose either workshop 1 or workshop 2.
These workshops will be presented on zoom, and a link will be sent to participants in advance of the workshops.
Maximum places per workshop: 25 (1 child & 1 adult counts as 1 place)
As places are limited, if you’re plans change and you can no longer participate please do let us know in advance, as we could then accommodate any waiting list.
These workshops are Free of Charge but places must be booked in advance.
