National Opera House Event

RESIDENCY: Sinead Campbell & Redmond O’Toole Live in Concert

12 August 2017

Tickets: €20

Music Network Artist Residency in partnership with The National Opera House and Wexford County Council

Sinead Campbell Wallace and Redmond O'Toole present a concert of 19th century romantic music for guitar and voice. A selection of Schubert's Lieder in arrangements by Johann Kaspar Mertz and John Duarte are interspersed with Italian Arias and other music from Italian guitarist/composer Mauro Giuliani. Heart wrenching emotions and exquisite melodies are the order of the evening with subjects of love and loss that resonate as much with us today as they did with Schubert some two hundred years ago. Songs that were originally written for voice with piano are presented in a new light through the intimate medium of classical guitar and voice.

Our friends in The Yard are offering all ticket holders a special discount on their Early Bird menu that evening! Simply produce your ticket and receive 2 courses for €22 (normally €24) PLUS a complimentary glass of champagne in T Morris after the event.
