With a ten-piece band, full brass section, and all the special guests representing BOB DYLAN, NEIL YOUNG, ERIC CLAPTON, VAN MORRISON, JONI MITCHEL, NEIL DIAMOND, and a host of others who appeared on the original concert. This brilliant live music night is a real treat for anyone who loves good old fashioned rock and country music. The show not only stars The Group themselves as The Band (naturally!) but also features a whole host of special musical guest-stars from Ireland’s music scene! The night is a must-see for fans of The Band, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Van Morrison, Muddy Waters, Neil Diamond, Eric Clapton, Joni Mitchell and many more.

Brendan Keane is a singer-songwriter from Co. Wexford. The driving force behind some of Wexford's most respected rock bands such as Touchstone and Strange Fruit he has toured, in a solo guest capacity, with international rock acts like Status Quo and Squeeze founder members, Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford. He has also opened for acts ranging from Rod Stewart, The Christians, Natasha Bedingfield, Mundy, Luan Parle, Mick Flannery, Jack L, Eleanor McEvoy, Don Baker to multiple Grammy winner, Albert Lee, to name but a few.

Brendan has appeared numerous times on radio and TV and has performed at venues throughout Ireland, the UK, Australia, Asia, and the USA. He has appeared at prestigious festivals such as the Victor Harbor Folk Festival in South Australia and received an award for his lyrics in Las Vegas, USA, in the company of Hollywood screen legend, Bob Hope. Brendan has performed on numerous recordings by other artists and is currently working on songs for an all-original solo album.

For the performance in the National Opera House, as a special guest to 'Live the Last Waltz', he will be joined by Dakota Venn-Keane and Clem Dake.
