An unforgettable, mystical performance from Tulua in their home of the National Opera House after a successful tour of American festivals last Summer.
The renowned Tulua are returning to the National Opera House for a concert not to be missed after their sold-out performance last April. Hailing from the Southeast of Ireland, Tulua are a traditional Irish fusion band having emerged from the traditional music scene in their earlier years. Since their EP release in 2020 they have garnered a strong following and have supported acts and festivals such as Milwaukee Irish Fest, Templebar Tradfest, Donal Lunny's Atlantic Arc, Cormac Begley, Fergal Scahill & Ryan Molloy, La Crosse Irish Fest and many more and are excited to now share their music from these amazing experiences.
Through involving themselves with the traditional music world from an early age they discovered a strong passion for bringing traditional and original tunes and songs to the forefront of fusion and to explore what is possible within their roots. They carefully blend this music with elements from other genres to create a sound unique to them with many describing their sound as 'mystical' and 'full of driving energy'. They look forward to performing a spectacular show in sharing their original and traditional music with everyone as they join them on their journey of exploring the possibilities within Irish traditional music.
