MOVE 2026 takes to the stage of the National Opera House as 2 Many Dance Moves celebrates 18 years of creativity, community, and connection through dance. This special production reflects on some of our most loved and memorable pieces, reimagined and reworked with our current dancers, bringing fresh energy and new perspectives to the work that has shaped our journey.
At its heart, MOVE 2026 explores the theme of coming of age — not as something we leave behind, but something we continue to experience. We may be getting older, but that doesn’t mean we’re growing up. Through movement, we embrace the highs and lows of birthdays, parties, and life’s defining moments, capturing the joy, chaos, vulnerability, and celebration that come with evolving.
Featuring performers from age 3 to adulthood, the show includes solos, duets, and powerful group pieces. Each dancer brings their own voice to the stage, expressing who they are in this moment while honouring who they have been.
This production is a celebration of growth in all its forms — a reminder to embrace every season of yourself, to find strength in vulnerability, and to feel empowered to express who you truly are.
