For health and safety reasons, all young children require a ticket to attend a show in National Opera House.

Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded unless a performance has been cancelled or sold out and tickets can be resold. 

Please note that events are subject to change. Tickets that are resold are subject to a 15% administration charge.

When you book a ticket at National Opera House, your personal information will be held in our database for the purposes of contacting you regarding an event should we need to. Your information will not be disclosed to any third parties.

You will be asked if you want to be included on our mailing list. If you agree,we may send you information on special offers or competitions for shows that may be of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive information from us, please tell us at the time of booking.

Once you are satisfied with your seat allocation, and you have entered your credit card details on the final booking page, select the ‘Buy Tickets’ button on the bottom right-hand corner. 

You will then receive an e-mail confirming your booking.

The theatre bar is open on performance evenings from 7pm or an hour before the event begins.

Food and drink are not permitted into the auditorium.

Smoking or vaping is not permitted anywhere in the National Opera House.

Cameras, video cameras and recording equipment of any kind are not permitted in the auditorium.

Please ensure all mobiles phones and pagers are switched off before entering the auditorium.

Please arrive early. The doors of National Opera House will be open two hours prior to the performance start time. The Auditorium is open 30 minutes prior to the performance start time.

In the event of lateness, admission cannot always be guaranteed. Where possible, patrons will be admitted at a suitable break in the performance.

While there is no set ‘dress code’ at the National Opera House, we ask that patrons dress respectfully
