Bagatelle, one of Ireland's most loved bands, have performed for over 40 years and achieved several No.1 Singles with iconic songs like 'Summer in Dublin', 'Second Violin' and 'Trump Card'. They also have enjoyed multi-platinum and gold album sales with classic emigration songs like 'Streets of New York', 'Flight of the Earls' and 'Boston Rose', all written by front-man Liam Reilly. Sadly Liam Reilly, the lead singer of Bagatelle passed away 1st January 2021.
Following a TG4 documentary about Liam, 'Bagatelle' - Ómos do Liam Reilly', which first aired New Year's Eve 2021, a year after his untimely passing, a decision was made by the remaining members of the band to go back on the road for special appearances with special guests to celebrate the Life of Liam Reilly, his music and the Bagatelle Legacy.
This 22nd February, just weeks after the anniversary of his passing, Bagatelle and Friends will perform at the National Opera House, Wexford. The show will be extra special as two of Wexford's own, Donna Marie Sludds (Enniscorthy) and Shane McDonald (Campile) were invited by Bagatelle earlier this year to be part of the Bagatelle and Friends Show, so the National Opera House show will be extra special for all concerned.
