HFC Concert Band Christmas Concert

The HFC Concert Band Wexford, conducted by Alan Mahon, returns to the National Opera House for their annual Christmas concert on Sunday 21st of December 2025 at 4pm.

This concert will be the culmination of a busy and successful year of performances for the band. They played at numerous outdoor locations during their summer season including a performance on the GigRig during Fleadh Cheoil 2025 and during Culture Night.

Following on from their very successful concert last December, HFC Concert Band are delighted to welcome, as guests, Rosslare District Community Choir, under the guidance of Musical Director, Aileen Donohoe.

Rosslare District Community Choir was established in 2024 and are looking forward to making their debut at the National Opera House, Wexford.

This concert will deliver music and song that will thrill and entertain the audience, with a diverse mix guaranteed to suit all tastes, including some festive tunes so get your tickets before they are all gone!!

The Rosslare Municipal District Community Choir, formed November 2024, has already made their mark - Their first performance was a Christmas concert last year in aid of Unicef Gaza fund and in August, they had a very exciting performance on the gig rig at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2025. The choir, which is under the musical direction of Aileen Donohoe, consists of singers of all ages from the Rosslare District, including families who love to sing!
