The Wexford Drama Festival is a vibrant celebration of theatrical arts held annually in Wexford, Ireland. Since its inception in 1963, the festival has become a significant event in the cultural calendar, showcasing the best of amateur theatre. With a commitment to promoting the richness of dramatic expression, the festival features a variety of genres, from classic plays to contemporary works, all performed by talented amateur drama groups.

The Wexford Drama Festival not only fosters creativity and collaboration among theatre enthusiasts but also cultivates a deep sense of community and passion for drama. Whether you're a seasoned theatre-goer or a newcomer, the festival promises an unforgettable cultural experience filled with creativity and inspiration! Our highly popular Patrons Tickets are a bargain at just €80 for eight nights entertainment in the Jerome Hynes Theatre.

This year we are joined by the highly esteemed adjudicator Mr Tom Byrne, ADA, to adjudicate the festival.
