A jaw-dropping story set on the Coral Sea, Australia. An Irish backpacker blags his way onto a prawn trawler. There he discovers a rarely seen world of hard labour and harder fishermen, where drinking, fighting, storms and hungry sharks are part of everyday life.

His raw, exuberant story of adventure twists dramatically into survival culminating in an unforgettable moment of redemptive grace. Trawled is one-man classical story telling that plays out like a movie on stage

Written and performed by Wexford native Eoin Ryan. Trawled is a biographical drama. The story has been recently optioned for a movie.

Trawled was first performed in the Jerome Hynes theatre in 2023. It has since toured Ireland, the Uk and Australia. Trawled was shortlisted for the prestigious BBC POP Corn writers award at Edinburgh Fringe. The novel was also shortlisted for the CAP award in non-fiction.

The performance on the 23rd of Feb will be the FINAL PERFORMANCE of Trawled. Last chance to see the actual protagonist (Eoin Ryan) performing Trawled on stage.

There will be a Q&A afterwards with Eoin.
