Tulua are a traditional Irish fusion band hailing from the southeast of Ireland. Meaning ‘Becoming More‘, Tulua have been deeply exploring and sharing their music over the years with their tunes and songs often being described as energetic, warm, and deep, while always staying true to their traditional roots. Since their forthcoming in 2019 they have played around the world, at festivals such as Milwaukee Irish Fest, CastleFest Holland, La Crosse Irish Fest, Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, Temple Bar Tradfest, Kilkenny Tradfest, Phil Murphy Weekend, Dungarvan Tradfest and supporting renown acts such as Dervish, De Dannan, Atlantic Arc, Fergal Scahill & Ryan Molloy and many more, whilst also exclusively performing to their sold out concerts in the National Opera House. They have been on shows such as the internationally successful ‘Ireland with Michael’ which premieres on PBS and also appear regularly on radio stations across the country and have been shortlisted in Hot Press’ ‘Irish Music of the Month’ in 2021.
After releasing their first EP in 2020 they quickly garnered support throughout the traditional music scene which led them to a highly successful Debut Album launch of ‘No Coming No Going’ in 2023 that encompasses both traditional and new music and song. They have since established a strong name amongst many in the traditional music world.
