Green Road are a powerhouse multi instrumental folk band from County Wexford whose unique sound infuses Irish folk songs and ballads with flavours of bluegrass and Americana.
PJ Sinnott (lead vocal and banjo), Ned Wall (Uileann Pipes and low whistle), Fergal O’Hanlon (guitar and vocals), Jon Reville (mandolin and banjo) and Sean Furlong (bodhran and vocals) are the members of the band.
In 2024, Green Road played to a capacity crowd in February at the National Opera House and toured the US in March to full houses in Boston, Cincinnati, Chicago, San Francisco and Rhode Island.
They headlined the Breakwater Festival at the Fleadh in August, and released their single They Sailed Away in September which has been streaming very well on Spotify and YouTube.
UTV featured Green Road in studio in Belfast on the popular UTV Life evening show in November showcasing their single They Sailed Away.
This will be Green Road’s third appearance at the National Opera House.
