Perfect Friction 1190x600

This event will take place in the National Opera House

Perfect Friction are a group of musicians who came together through playing at sessions in Wicklow Town following the Leinster Fleadh in 2009. The band features 5 trad musicians and a world-class vocalist, Louise Kelly. The band’s music ranges from high-energy trad sets with a full range of instruments (fiddle, accordion, whistle, concertina, bodhrán, guitar), to pop and rock songs tastefully arranged with a trad theme. They have accumulated a considerable resumé of appearances and achievements since their formation and have performed worldwide from Zimbabwe to Florida and are proud to be performing back in Debbie’s home county of Wexford.

•    Louise Kelly - lead vocals
•    Courtney Cullen - fiddle
•    Lottie Cullen - uilleann pipes and concertina
•    Debbie Byrne - accordion and vocals
•    Eddie Kavanagh - bodhran
•    Richard O’Toole – guitar and vocals
