Venue: Bride Street Church
Join us for a very special evening of music, song and entertainment as some of Wexford’s wonderful local performers come together for Wexford Sings for Bungoma, a charity concert in aid of the Bungoma Outreach Programme.
Taking place in the beautiful setting of Bride Street Church on Sunday 27th September at 7.30pm, the evening promises something for everyone, with performances from Tony Carty, Bride Street Folk Group, Rachel Grace, Oyster Lane Theatre Group, Wexford Light Opera Society, Isabella Caulfield, Anam Choir, Éabha Carty, Thomas Furlong, Daniel Furlong and The Shelly O’Grady Trad Ensemble.
The evening will be hosted by MC Tony Carty, bringing together a wonderful mix of music, song, theatre and traditional Irish entertainment in support of a very special cause.
The Bungoma Outreach Programme brings volunteers together with local community partners in Bungoma, Kenya, to provide practical support for projects including education, school improvements, clean water, sanitation and safe spaces for young mothers and their children.
All proceeds from the evening will contribute towards this work and help provide the essential materials and resources needed for the projects.
Come along, enjoy an evening of fantastic local talent and help us make a difference in Bungoma.
